Pregnancy and Fitness. We have received many questions from expectant mothers about how Dissent Athletics can help them during their pregnancy. I have been working closely with Tory through group classes and nutrition coaching from pre-pregnancy through present. Dissent Athletics has followed her journey closely because our member’s health and happiness it of utmost importance to us. For example experimenting with modifications in workouts, handling nausea in the first trimester, cravings in the third, and nutrition needs based on where she is at in the pregnancy.

You don’t have to have all the answers
Starting your fitness and nutrition journey can be scary, so like Tory says in the interview, “It is a great time to be healthy.” As a result, your journey may look a little different than you originally intended but that does not mean you can’t improve. We have knowledgeable coaches who are here to help you every step, trimester, and meal. In other words, you don’t have to have all the answers and you are not alone.
