Jonathan and Kelsey Royston - OWNERS
Jonathan- “As soon as people stopped telling me to exercise I really wanted to do it so for me entering college I found fitness. It took a few years but then I found a local CrossFit gym and started up there. Within months of doing group classes and following their nutrition plan I stopped taking allergy and asthma medicine I’d been prescribed since I was 8 years old. My goal is to help others remove the chains of illness and disease the same way I did – and have a lot of fun along the way.”
Kelsey- “I’ve always been into sport and competition, but I did not truly get into fitness until I began CrossFit. I thought playing in tournaments every weekend and waking up for 6am weights equaled fitness. After finishing my Master’s in Counseling Psychology, I began working with clients who struggled with mental and physical health daily. I could see how easily they were impacting each other and I even started to find anxiety relief for myself through fitness. Due to CrossFit and education I have been able to cultivate an actual understanding of fitness and all its facets. My mission is to bridge the gap between physical and mental health, one athlete at a time.”

Hi, I'm Ashley! I have a Kinesiology background, have been coaching at Dissent for a few years, and coached at the high school level prior to this. I am passionate about making fitness fun & helping people realize that fitness is for EVERYONE! There is a version for everyone and I enjoy helping people realize they are capable of so much more than they ever knew. My goal is to make the time people are in the gym the best part of their day, and to encourage them to push themselves to reach their goals - both big and small!

Hey, I'm Lindsay! I have been a Crossfit Level 1 trainer since 2017 and a coach with Dissent since 2021. I love helping athletes tap into their true strength both inside and out and helping them realize that, in fact, they CAN. Olympic weightlifting and nutrition for performance are my primary areas of specialty. In my personal life, I enjoy cats, pop punk and a good plate of nachos

Hi, I'm Jessie! I am an ISSA-certified nutritionist with a passion for helping people reach their nutritional goals. Whether this means improving daily intake, or achieving specific body composition, a sustainable method is essential for long lasting results.
I use a variety of methods including habit stacking, mindful eating, trend tracking, and more, to develop a plan catered to each unique individual. Nutrition is not only the key to healthy body weight, but is also one of the main pillars of mental and physical health and general wellness. I love helping people build healthy habits that will support these important aspects of life with a personalized lifestyle approach to nutrition coaching!
