Dissent Athletics will be hosting our “Brunch of Burpees” Event this coming Saturday!
Where: Roy Johnson STEM Academy Track, 8901 Oak Grove Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76140
When: Saturday August 27th from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM, Coach led warm up 8:00 AM, start time 8:30 AM
What: We will be doing a burpee and running workout from CrossFit Linchpin.
400 m run, 20 burpees, 400 m run, 19 burpees, 400 m run, 18 burpees, 400 m run, 17 burpees, etc. until you reach 1 burpee
What to bring
While we will be starting at 8:00 AM it is still important to bring a few things! Water, snacks, sunscreen, towel, running shoes and a change of clothes are all on our list! This is a 60 to 90 minute workout! Talk about an endurance workout. This means you will likely need some sort of replenishment as we go through the workout.

The best part. BRUNCH! After we finish the workout we will be heading over to eat some yummy food at a local brunch spot to refuel our body after all the hard work.
